“There’s really no completion with my Bikram Yoga. I’m always working my postures – tweaking them here, pushing a bit there. The way I see it, I have a lifetime to get them all right.” We’re pleased to …
Bikram Yoga is a 90 minute beginning yoga class suitable for all levels in which the teacher guides the students through a series of 26 Hatha yoga postures and two breathing exercises. The class is done in a room of 105 degrees to protect the muscles and allow for deeper stretching. At the same time, circulation is improved and toxins are flushed out through the skin. These 26 postures systematically work every part of the body, to give all the internal organs, veins, ligaments, and muscles everything they need to maintain optimum health and maximum function. Through the breathing exercises, students learn to control their breath and increase lung capacity resulting in an increased supply of oxygen throughout the body.
About Our Facilty
We are pleased to offer our students at Bikram Yoga Temecula a 1750 square foot yoga room. Our Thermotek rooftop furnace and inline humidifier keep the room at the optimum temperature and humidity level. Fresh air is continually brought into the room from outside and a CO2 monitor will automatically regulate the air quality in the room. After class, you can enjoy a hot (or cold!) shower in either the men’s and women’s shower rooms, both featuring tiled showers, toilets, sinks and a changing area. In the lobby area, you will find our reception desk, bench seating and retail area for purchase of hydration drinks and yoga gear.
All instructors at Bikram Yoga Temecula have been certified by Bikram Choudhury after graduating from his intensive Teacher Training Programs. Teachers are required to re-certify every 3 years, and to maintain the integrity of Bikram’s Hatha Yoga system, the teaching methods, and his dialogue. We encourage our teachers to continue their study, practice, and development as teachers by returning to the Source, attending Bikram’s seminars, classes, re-visiting the Teacher Trainings, and most importantly — maintaining their own Yoga practice.
